Tecumseh High School is in the finals for the Addix Best Michigan Football Rivalry contest! Right now our rivalry game with Adrian is going head to head with Portage Central v Portage Northern. The winning rivalry will get custom football jerseys from Addix for their rivalry game next season!

Right now Tecumseh v Adrian is in the lead, but not by much! We need your help to close this thing out with only a little over 24 hours left in the contest!

The voting is taking place on Twitter, so if you have an account, or have the time to make one (it's really quick and easy) please vote for us using the link below!

Reorganization Update

Once all of the students are done with school on June 15th, the hard work begins. We will be moving hundreds, if not thousands, of boxes as we relocate our teachers to their classrooms for next year. We will also be renovating Herrick Park and Patterson to accommodate our older learners. There will also be facilities improvements district wide as we get ready for the 2017-18 school year.

One of the newest tools that we are looking forward to using next year is our learning management system, Buzz. We have been training the staff for the last few months and will be gradually implementing it next year as a tool to help customize learning for each and every child. To help you get an idea of how this system works, please enjoy the video to the right.

Please feel free to review the process so far or to leave a comment at the
Reorganization Website.

Thank you again for your continued support of TPS.
A look at Mass Customized Learning and Project-Based Learning.
On June 28th at the Union School nine young men and women participated in the first ever commencement of Tecumseh High School. Seven men and two women received diplomas in the classical course and English. It was 1866. Now 150 years later more than 270 are set to follow in their footsteps on June 4th.

This series of articles will look back decade by decade at some of the most prominent graduates of Tecumseh High School leading up to the graduation of this year’s class.
